Democrat Party Chairman Anas Urbaningrum allegedly tripped cases receiving gratuities in the form of a Toyota Harrier while still a member of the House of Representatives. Anas’s attorney, Firman Wijaya, and Muhammad Anas Rahmad as experts spoke about the case.
“When the issue is so polemic Harrier car, then I would like to clarify the ownership of this car. This is a normal transaction, such as buying and selling civil transactions. Anas buy from Nazaruddin by installments,” Word said during a press conference at the Warung Daun, Jakarta, Tuesday (02/19/2013).
Word describes, in August-September 2009, there was a few times talking about buying a car between Anas and former Democratic Party treasurer Muhammad Nazaruddin. From the results of that conversation came the idea to buy a car brand Toyota Harrier.
“Nazaruddin offered to bail out the purchase and will repay in Nazaruddin Anas,” he explained.
Then, in late August 2009, Anas down payment of Rp 200 million to Nazaruddin. Giving is co-witnessed by Saan Mustopa, Pasha Ismaya Sukardi, Rudi, and Maimara Tando.
Later known, the closure of the underpaid cars purchased in cash by Nazaruddin to the showroom turns the name of PT Putra Metropolitan Pacific. The car was taken from the office Rudi on 12 September 2009 by staff experts Anas, Muhammad Rahmat.

After that, in July 2010, Anas asked Rahmad sell the car to a showroom in Kemayoran and sold for Rp 500 million. The money is then transferred to the account of Rahmat on July 12, 2010. He also disburse money to the next day.
“Rahmad requested by Anas to hand over money from the sale of the car was on Nazaruddin,” he said.
Rahmad Nazar was contacted by telephone and SMS, and agreed to meet at Plaza Senayan on July 17, 2010. Rahmad go along with two witnesses delivery of money, ie, Yadi and Adromo. Money amounting to Rp 500 million in cash was taken.
However, upon arrival at Plaza Senayan, Nazar gives the news that he could not attend and sent his aide named Iwan to take the money. Rahmat was then giving it to Iwan, and make sure the money is received Nazar.
